PRIVATE CLIENTS TIP OF THE MONTH

What you Focus on is What you Get!

When you find things not going your way and feel down in the dumps, pay attention to what you’ve been thinking, saying and doing recently.

If you view the world in a negative way, see everything as scary or everyone as being against you, that’s what you may well attract. Many of you may have heard of the law of attraction and it actually makes a lot of sense. We are after all, as quantum physics has now been able to confirm for us, simply forms of energy that vibrate on a certain level and make us what we are.

That being the case, our thoughts and actions affect our vibration and our energy levels. Have you noticed for example, when you feel great, nothing is too much effort and you have loads of energy and yet when you feel down about life, it’s hard to drag yourself off the sofa!

So take a look at what’s been influencing your thoughts and speech patterns – the films you’ve been watching, what you’ve been reading, who you’ve been seeing and pay attention to your thoughts.

If you’re constantly focusing on what is wrong with situations and life in general, hanging around with people who are critical and negative and so on, it affects your moods and levels of enjoyment and you tend to attract more of the same.

We Brits (sorry for the sweeping generalization!) are particularly good at moaning and it really is time to take a look on the bright side. Try and focus on what is going right with things, what is right about people around you, what is right about you and your situation and see how it affects how you feel and what comes into your life. If you don’t like what you see, look at what you can do to make positive changes. Deliberately stop yourself when you find yourself thinking to speaking negatively and think about how you can express these thoughts and words into more positive statements.

Make journal notes of any changes you become aware of. I’ll be interested to hear how you get on! I’ll be interested to hear how you get on!
